GBA was started with the goal to encourage people to have civil conversations that reflect an appreciation for America.  

 

The original "GBA talks"  started in 2018 between two friends, Adam Laird and Matt Bello, every Monday morning over coffee in Matt's kitchen.  The talks covered all the areas that Americans seem to have a problem discussing- politics, money, religion, and the state of our country and the world.  In the beginning, the talks were sometimes contentious, but as more Mondays went by, the pair realized two things:

 

1. That they both loved America

2. That they both wanted the place they both call home to prosper

 

Sadly, too many of us feel that we are not able to speak about the things that affect all of us most!  GBA provides a platform for more people to come together and realize that conversations about what makes America good are important for all of  us.
